All bures come with king-size beds, open plan living space, luxuriously-appointed ensuite bathrooms with cascade shower configuration and premium linens. The bures also feature minibars, day-beds and loungers on the front deck for lazing around and kimono-style bathrobes for its guests. Besides oceans of privacy and peace, the Navutu Stars Resort also has scores of fun activities and experiences for its guests. From swimming and snorkelling in one of the best-preserved and flourishing coral reefs in the world to attending cultural events around the island, there is so much to do!
The Navutu Stars Resort takes prides in its world-class gourmet cuisine, its chefs having trained under the finest Italian masters. The menu is ever-changing and everything on the table – from the seafood, produce or meat is fresh or locally-grown. The main restaurant offers an outdoor setting, while guests can always choose to dine in their bures or have a romantic candlelight dinner under the stars.
Being the only resort on the pretty Yaqeta Island in Yasawa chain kind of guarantees an epic holiday in terms of fun and activities. Guests can go swimming, snorkelling and kayaking off the island’s crystal-clear waters for days on end, especially when there’s no crowds. At all. For fishing enthusiasts, the resort can organise fishing charters on demand; plus the charter staff can also help you indulge in a bit of spear-fishing if you’re interested. Also, we would recommend signing up for swimming with manta rays – no matter how many times you’ve experienced it, it’s such a beautiful sight seeing the ‘albatrosses of the sea’.
But this is not saying that the Navutu Stars Resort has nothing to offer on land – far from it! It has on tap a fabulous Fijian village tour experience and we’d absolutely recommend sitting down for a traditional kava-drinking session with the villagers (for all readers who are wondering what is kava, read our blog ‘Kava: Is Oceania’s ‘root beer’ the next alt-bev?‘). For adventure-lovers, there are great hiking tours to explore the Yaqeta Island and a visit to the submerged caves of Sawa-i-Lau. Check out the FAQ section for a list of activities in and around the resort.
