Maximum number of guests in each public area will be put up for optimal social distancing. Floor markers and signage will be provided to encourage proper social distancing etiquette.

Me and my dad stayed here for a week in May/June of 24. My dad who is is 93, and not very physically able, and has to use a wheelchair to move around most of the time, wanted to fulfil his dream of coming to Bora Bora before he "moves on". Although not everything went as expected for him, he was able to do this at least, mostly in thanks to the wonderful staff at Le Moana hotel, who made sure we both had an amazing and unforgettable experience here. We stayed 6 nights in a beautiful overwater bungalow overlooking an azure lagoon, surrounded by coral and all sorts of beautiful fish and rays which we could see from the outside balcony and also through the glass coffee table inside our room! The bungalow we stayed in was nicely maintained and clean throughout. There were twin beds provided and housekeeping even kindly converted the sofa into another bed in the living area for me. The best part about the bungalow though, was the walkout balcony which had steps leading into the lagoon where you can just go for a swim whenever you want. As I mentioned, my dad is not very physically able, so we were very happy that the hotel overall was wheelchair accessible, and provided a wheelchair for him to use throughout our stay at no additional cost. I loved the buffet style breakfast offered, and it was probably one of the things I most looked forward to each morning. There was always a good selection of fresh fruit, pastries, bacon, eggs, etc and amazing fresh crêpes and pancakes everyday. Since I'm dairy intolerant, I was really happy that I could always get almond milk for my morning coffee, might not be a big thing for most people, but for me it's quite a big deal. The biggest positive for me however, has to be the staff, especially the concierge. A big, big thank you to Tita, who was simply amazing and arranged just about everything for us while we were there. My dad had an unfortunate accident while he was there (not at all to do with the hotel), and had to be taken to hospital on Raiatea. Tita managed to sort everything out, from arranging transport, communicating between the hospital and me, translating and making sure he made it back safely to the hotel after he was discharged. I seriously can't thank her enough and I really don't know how I would have coped without her help and support. It was especially nice that all the hotel staff were really supportive during that time. They always asked how my dad was doing and wished for his speedy recovery and it was just a really nice touch that everyone cared and wanted to help. Thank you also to Lawrence, who made sure my dad had special assistance on our return journey and made sure there was someone ready to meet us at the airport. Although it was a super long trip getting here from the UK, and despite a few hiccups, it was worth it and I would 100% come here again. There's simply no place on earth like this and I'm just so happy I was able to come here with my dad. It's something we'll never forget. Read Less...
