Savaii Lagoon resort is owned by a New Zealand couple. Savaii Lagoon beach is one of the most beautiful in Samoa. It is sheltered by a lagoon where the crystal clear, warm waters are safe for swimming and snorkeling for all ages. It is the ideal relaxation spot for couples and families. A Dive Charter (Padi) also operates from the lagoon from beginners to masters. Recently opened is their new restaurant and bar in a delightfully relaxing setting right there on the sandy beach. Their aim is to provide a menu which has fresh produce sourced locally. Enjoy your breakfast as you watch the early morning rays of the sun dancing on the sparkling clear waters of the pristine lagoon. In the early evening, take time out from reading that absorbing book to watch the sunsets for which this area is renowned. Enjoy an all fruit smoothie or one of your other favourite drinks like pina colada or the local vailima beer. The warm waters of the Pacific Ocean that surround Samoa's islands offer a range of water sport activities, from reef surfing to game fishing, diving, sea kayaking and snorkelling. For the land lover, have a picnic by a waterfall, hike to extinct volcanic craters or crater lakes and explore the vast plantations of coconut, bananas and cocoa. Take in the aromas of Samoa's vast and vibrant flora. The resort has complimentary dinghies, petanque, kayaks and a small library. In addition, bicycles are available for hire. The beach at Savaii Lagoon Resort is very safe and provides excellent snorkelling and swimming. There are full day and half day island tours which have a pickup and return arrangement. The half day tour to the Blow Holes and the Waterfall are recommended. Based across the road is 'Dive Savaii' PADI Dive shop, where you can complete PADI Dive Courses (beginners to pro - divemaster & assistant instructor). Certified divers are welcome on their daily dive trips. Snorkeling gear rental is available for use off the beach or on 'Dive Savaii' daily boat snorkeling tours (seasonal). This bungalow has some cooking facilities and has an outdoor ensuite with a hot shower enclosed within the bungalow. Some have a bedroom separate from the living area with a queen size bed and extra facilities for sleeping in the living area. The maximum is 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. 3 children will only be accepted if two of the children are small and able to sleep together on a push down sofa settee.
