The resort’s beach is a picture-perfect stretch of white sand with crystal clear waters of the Pacific Ocean extending into infinity. Travellers, especially surfers, favour Liku’alofa because of its ten surf breaks and overall surfing potential. From the airport, reaching the resort is a matter of just half an hour – and the ride is so picturesque!
The resort offers six room types, each uniquely suited to budget travellers, backpackers, couples, families and honeymooners. Each of the rooms feature an ensuite bathroom, fans and a private balcony/ veranda with stunning views of the ocean and the island sunsets.
Swimming, surfing, snorkelling and watersports of almost any variety is fantastic by default. And in Tonga, who wouldn’t want to go whale-watching? From June to October, guests will be riveted by sights of breaching and gambolling whales near the beach. Our recommendation?
