This resort is just a few minutes’ drive away from the Rarotonga International Airport. The Edgewater Resort’s main restaurant, the Brasserie, checks all the boxes when it comes to island-style dining. Set on the beach with great views, the restaurant offers al fresco dining with a curated all-day menu. They also have a great pastry team, honestly. If you’re in the mood for pizza, head over to the Spaghetti House. Pizzeria & Grill. Then, Mal’s Bar serves up great cocktails; before you ask – it’s named after Mal Meninga. Besides the above, the resort also organises themed meals every day, and its’ Island Umukai Feast is a sensory treat. From the gloriously energetic song-and-dance performances to the island fare, everything’s top shelf!
The Edgewater Resort is spread over six acres and has its own tennis court, its own private beachfront with loungers, swimming pool, a giant chess set, a kids’ club and a games room with ping pong, foosball, a pool table, and board games. The kids’ club comes with its own set of activities like crab racing, garland making, fish feeding, pareu tying, island dance lessons and more! It even has its own daily newsletter for activities of the day!
Outside the resort, the island is ripe for adventure. It would be a crime to visit the Cook Islands and not go for scuba diving, snorkelling tours and a sunset cruise.
