Listen to Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island, Reinvented: Massive Updates Push Through for All-New Feel

The Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island continues steadily on its mission of an epic makeover – and we’ve got updates. If you’re travelling to Radisson Fiji in late 2024, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by an all-new look and feel of this established resort.

To start off, the Basilico Italian Restaurant’s renovation is complete, and is now welcoming guests again. From its previous capacity of hosting around 58 people, it has nearly doubled to 100 pax at a time.

Other facilities which are undergoing remodelling and renovation are the Blu Bar & Grill Restaurant, the pool bar, the kids’ club and the resort’s capacious lobby, the last which has undergone a massive reimagining and is going to look just breathtaking.

The Blu Bar & Grill will be reopening during the second week of September this year. It’s been closed off for a full renovation, and guests are being directed to buffet area for breakfast as well as the Byblos ‘Taste of Lebanon’ Restaurant, is welcoming guests for lunch, too. For dinner, the resort has turned to its beautiful Veidomoni Lawn for a tailored menu. The Blu Bar’s services are now being handled by the capable Ocean Deck bar, as well as the nifty portable swim-up bar. The Pool bar is scheduled to be reopened as early as the second week of August! Ask our South Pacific Specialists for more exact timings and other particulars.

Now, with the above being said, the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island’s forte of having multiple, top-class restaurants have made guests almost unaware of even minor inconveniences from the Blu bar & Grill being not in service. Besides the Byblos, they include the Chantara Thai Restaurant, Basilico Italian and Teppanyaki Restaurant. Also, the Lomani Wai offers a uniquely Fijian dining with feet-in-the-water experience.

The reimagined entry to the Radisson Blu Fiji!

After the Pool bar and the Blu Bar & Grill, the next in line for reopening will be the resort’s always in-demand kids’ club. The usual location has been closed for now; the resort has shifted operation to other rooms. The new and improved club would be in operation back again as soon as September 2024.

The last in line, and definitely an important part in Radisson Blu Fiji Resort’s first impression, is the lobby. The existing functions of reception desk, concierge services, guest relations, tour desk, et cetera are operating as normal and at speed, nevertheless. The lobby is being completely reimagined and redone from the ground up, and the extensive operation has been staggered into three phases. It includes upgrading and extending the lobby space, and incorporating contemporary and avant-garde designs into it before unveiling for general use. The predicted timeline is around November, 2024.
