Edgewater Lake Wānaka is ready post makeover to welcome Kiwi holidaymakers

New Zealand luxury resort Edgewater Lake Wānaka has announced that it has finished its deep-refurbishment project for its rooms, suites and apartments, just in time for New Year! The new Premium Rooms, Suites and Apartments have been thoughtfully redesigned keeping in mind guest comfort and highlighting views of the lake, mountains and the gardens.

Edgewater Lake Wānaka’s General Manager Leigh Stock said, “This second phase of refurbishment has been major undertaking at Edgewater and credit goes to our building project managers getting the guest rooms completed. Our housekeeping and maintenance teams have swept into action providing the finishing touches preparing the rooms for guest stays.”

The resort has added three more new rooms to its inventory, bringing the total up to 106 – all ready and available from the start of 2025.

The One-Bedroom Suites come with a split king bed, offer superb views of the lake and the grounds from the spacious living room and its balcony. With an ensuite bathroom, a full kitchen and dining space and a sofa-bed, these suites are an excellent choice for experiential travellers, honeymooners and friends travelling together. The resort also has on tap two-bedroom premium suites and two-bedroom apartments, which come with lovely floor-to-ceiling glass windows with stupendous views of the lake and the mountains.
