In a recent announcement, the Kimaya Group has appointed Chris Green as its new General Manager of Resorts. Green will be taking over operations and management of all of Kimaya Group’s properties, including the Yatule Resort & Spa, the Hideaway Resort & Spa, and Landers Bay Resort & Spa. Additionally, he’ll also be spearheading the transformation of Kimaya Group’s newest acquisition, formerly known as Villa Del Cowrie. Green will also be collaborating with travel and tourism stakeholders to realise Kimaya’s strategic vision and to deliver both commercial and community impact.

Green brings over two decades of experience in hospitality and leadership to fore at Kimaya Group. His earlier role as Marriott International’s Director of Sales saw him successfully manage marketing as well as sales for multiple Sheraton properties in Fiji, especially in international and local conferences. He’s also held leadership roles at companies such as Sofitel Fiji, Rosie Holidays, and Continental Hospitality Services. Plus, Green’s training as a chef and expertise in F&B will hold him in good stead and add depth to his leadership and knowledge.

Kimaya Group’s properties include some very well-known hotels and resorts set in some of Fiji’s most iconic locations. The boutique luxury Yatule Resort & Spa boasts of picture-perfect setting on Natadola Beach. The Landers Resort & Spa is similarly adults-only and offers travellers luxurious beachfront villas in Fijis’ Lautoka region, and the Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa showcases Coral Coast’s charm like only it can.
