Aitutaki Village’s Blue Lagoon Restaurant & Bar Unveils Refreshed Look This Summer

Exciting transformations are underway at the Blue Lagoon Restaurant & Bar, located within the charming Aitutaki Village on the idyllic shores of Aitutaki, Cook Islands. As part of a comprehensive refurbishment project, the resort’s restaurant and bar are receiving a stunning makeover designed to elevate guest experiences and showcase the best of local cuisine and ambience.

Phase 1 of the project, focusing on essential structural upgrades, is nearing completion and is expected to be finished by the end of May 2024. This phase has encompassed crucial construction elements, including the building of walls, installation of floors, plumbing systems, and electrical infrastructure, laying the groundwork for the aesthetic enhancements to come.

In June 2024, the project will seamlessly transition to Phase 2, where guests can look forward to experiencing the revitalised Blue Lagoon Restaurant & Bar. This phase will centre on aesthetic enhancements, including painting, installation of decorative features, and the addition of new equipment. The second fit phase is expected to conclude by July 2024, unveiling a refreshed space that will seamlessly blend modern comforts with the island’s natural beauty.

Throughout the second fit phase, guest access to and enjoyment of Aitutaki Village will remain uninterrupted, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. Refurbishment works for both phases will primarily take place during the day on weekdays (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm), minimizing any potential disruption for guests.
