Heritage Auckland
The Heritage Auckland is a four-star hotel located in the heart of the city’s posh Downtown area. With its story going back over a century, the hotel’s Hobson Street site is very much a part of Auckland’s cultural and historical identity. The Heritage Auckland is also sited one street over at Nelson Street – the first one is called as the Hotel accommodation wing and the latter as the Tower accommodation wing. Read More...+2 More

Termed as ‘geographically blessed’ by the Lonely Planet magazine, Auckland is one of the few cities in the world where one can start off the morning by winding up a mountain, come back down and go shopping in fashionable high streets in the city’s CBD, munch on a range of international cuisines, relax by the beach in the evening and let your hair down and go clubbing as the night turns to morning again. But then, this is Auckland.
There’s so much to do in the City of Sails that it would take weeks to go through all experiences once, but for first timers, we’d recommend starting with a cruise in the Hauraki Gulf. Touring the islands, one can appreciate Auckland’s meld of modern metropolis and pristine natural beauty. Then, a sightseeing bike ride through the city is a great way to build up your appetite and cycle through the attractions of Auckland. There’s also a tour bus ride which goes all the way up to the top of Mount Eden for an exhilarating 360˚ view. Then there is excellent surfing, kitesurfing, caving, going up One Tree Hill to check out the city sprawling below and taking the mandatory ‘gram, and more. There’s a lot to unpack here, so we’ll let it go at that (bungy-jumping, visiting Hobbiton village, self-drive adventures, museum tours, culture walks, food tramps…). And the hotel is just positioned perfectly in the middle of everything – how awesome is that!
