It’s set on Kadavulailai island, repeat travellers would know it by its previous sobriquet – Bounty Island. The Serenity Island is spread over 48 acres and travellers will have all of the island to themselves to explore to their heart’s content.
The resort island is set just a 20-minute boat ride from the mainland; after disembarking from the plane and collecting bags, guests can be on the island in less than an hour. There are a variety of water transfer options for travellers; the South Sea Cruises operate a leisurely and affordable ferry option, there are private water taxis and the resort has its own speedboat – affectionately nicknamed the Red Boat!
