The one bed villa is ideally suited to couples or singles looking for space and privacy. This villa has a separate lounge and master bedroom pavilion and is 70m2 in size (excluding decks and outdoor shower). The master bedroom features a large bedroom with king size bed and air conditioning and two sets of double French doors opening out onto private decks for uninterrupted ocean views. A large ensuite bathroom includes a generous bath and choice of an internal shower or an external courtyard shower. The separate lounge room pavilion features lounge chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, TV and DVD player. This pavilion opens out onto a vast deck, with sun lounges, and lawn stretching out to the beach just metres from the door. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults in existing bedding. An extra child can be accommodated in a rollaway.

The resort has four two bedroom villas ideally suited for either friends, two couples or a family. These villas have two separate bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom also has an outdoor shower courtyard and there is a separate lounge room with private deck. Each bedroom is air conditioned, the master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has a split king that can be set up as two single beds or one king sized bed. The lounge room has a TV and DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities and bar fridge. As the villas have separate pavilions with each bedroom located on either side, privacy is maintained. Villa size - 95m² (excluding decks & outdoor shower courtyard). Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults & 2 children in existing bedding. An extra child can be accommodated in a rollaway.

There is one 3 bed villa situated on the main point of the resort. This is a large commanding villa with three separate pavilions, each facing a different direction to fully utilize the 180 degree views. This is Vanuatu’s largest resort accommodation and surely one of the most beautiful views in the Pacific. The central lounge room pavilion has a large deck area and a TV and DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities and bar fridge. It has sweeping views of Eratap beach and Castaway island. The bedroom wings are linked to the central lounge room pavilion by enclosed corridors. The master bedroom pavilion is air conditioned with ensuite indoor bathroom and an outdoor shower courtyard. The second and third bedrooms share a second bathroom and contain a king size bed and two single beds and are also air conditioned. While ideally suited to larger families or two couples this villa is available to anyone wanting a very special experience. Villa size - 110m² (excluding decks & outdoor shower). Maximum Occupancy: Up to 6 persons.

About Eratap Beach Resort

The Eratap Resort is set just half an hour from Port Vila’s international airport and 20 minutes from the capital itself. In terms of accommodations, this boutique resort offers over 8 categories of villas – ranging from one/ two/ three-bedroom villas to super-luxurious beachfront villas with pools. It also boasts of two Honeymoon Villas with jaw-dropping vistas of the lagoon and the ocean.

The Eratap Beach Resort’s restaurant opens as early as seven and stays on till 10:00pm. But that’s not its strong suite. Set on the beach, patrons are treated to great views of the beach, ocean and the ‘Big Island’ (that’s Santo!) in the distance. Then, it sources all of its produce, seafood and meat locally and the chef’s team prepares a daily-changing menu of island and international cuisines. The bar is also up to scratch, with a good selection of international wines and liquors, along with some pretty great domestic beer. To make dinners even more memorable, the resort has a regular list of cultural entertainment too serenade guests. For example, one night could see patrons being wowed by a traditional fire dance and another night, it could be Vanuatu’s kitschy ‘bottle music’ performed by a local band.

The resort is also mindful of being able to arrange a host of activities and experiences for travellers. From scintillating swimming, snorkelling and kayaking off its shores to arranging private picnics on any of Eratap Beach Resort’s three private beaches, everything’s on tap.
