Getting to the Resort

Port Vila is serviced by multiple carriers in the South Pacific. Flights are frequent, those from Fiji and New Caledonia taking 90 minutes and from Australia and New Zealand taking around 3 hours. After clearing customs and getting their luggage at Port Vila’s Bauerfield International Airport, it’s a half an hour cab ride down Efate Island’s scenic roads to the resort.

Immersions – Things To See, Do, Eat and Experience at Nasama Resort

Vanuatu offers excellent opportunities for hikes and excursions in the tropics. Just 30 minutes from Nasama is the Mele Cascades Waterfall, a popular tourist attraction. It’s a challenging climb amidst jungles and at the summit – a rewarding rock-pool to splash about in! Then there’s Vanuatu’s Blue Lagoon – where freshwater and saltwater come together to produce the bluest of waters. Locals believe Mother Nature created the colour blue right in this very lagoon – and we’re inclined to agree! And now for one of Efate’s hidden gems. Not very far from Nasama is Top Rock – it’s a quiet camping and picnic spot blessed with crystal-clear waters great for swimming and snorkelling. And there’s more to explore when it comes to Vanuatu’s other islands. Back in the resort, guests can relax in the resort’s swimming pool or swim a lap or two while kids engage in wholesome fun in the children’s pool. Set in the southwest corner of the island, the resort gets to enjoy beautiful sunsets. The resort’s main Cafe Villa Restaurant and Bar offers delectable fares and relaxed ambience. The restaurant is divided into four seating sections – Cafe Terrace, Main Restaurant, Garden Terrace and the Bar. The menu at Cafe Villa incorporates locally sourced organic cuts and produce. Diners can pair bites with exotic, island-themed cocktails and popular casuals with dessert and locally-grown Tanna coffee rounding off the meal on a food-high. Nasama also houses what they proudly claim is ‘the funkiest food joint in all of Port Vila’ – the Three Pigs Restaurant and Bar. Named after the three favourite pig-out foods of all time – burgers, pizzas and tacos, with a modern funky twist. Guests can grab a bite of Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, craft burgers and Mexican fusion food, cooked in the open kitchen. A casual dining restaurant, it offers an open-air beer garden, colourful evenings with good food and regular specials like Taco Tuesdays, Happy Hours, and live performances!
